Identity Processing
What we think of as "myself" is complex. It is not simply "I". In fact who we are is made up of many different parts that perform certain roles. For example - child, parent, sibling, manager, chef, cleaner, leader, follower, victim, winner and so on. Each one of these roles has a point of view, beliefs, ideas, rules and even a way of communicating. When they all work together in harmony, great. But what happens when internal voices start to quarrel?
